Proposed Legislation for 2013: The Board is seeking authority in SB1244 to add five new fees and raise caps on existing fees: re-examination fee, continuing education review of sponsored educational seminars; license issue fee, certification of license status fee, and late renewal of homeopathic medical assistant registration. In addition, obsolete language in ARS § 32-2915 is being removed. Click here
Doctor of Homeopathy law signed by Governor on April 19, 2011. Licensure of Homeopathic Doctors becomes effective on January 1, 2015. The Board is drafting rules and will open a rulemaking docket in the near future. Please check back for further updates.
Final Rules: A.A.C., Chapter 4, Article 1 became effective on November 13, 2011. These rules describe continuing education criteria, examinations, additional information about preceptorships, and use of the MD(H) or DO(H) title and abbreviation . Click here

The Board’s mission is to protect the health, safety and welfare of Arizona citizens by examining, licensing and regulating homeopathic physicians. The Board also registers homeopathic medical assistants that work under the supervision of licensed homeopathic physicians.
The Board licenses and regulates approximately 85 Physicians practicing in the state, and has registered 20 Medical Assistants.
