Doctor of Homeopathy law signed by Governor on April 19, 2011.  Licensure of Homeopathic Doctors becomes effective on January 1, 2015.  The Board is drafting rules and will open a rulemaking docket in the near future.  Please check back for further updates. 

2014 Five Year Review  By law the Board must complete a review of each rule in its governing regulations.  The review was approved by the Governor's Regulatory Review Council on June 3, 2014.

Small Business Bill of Rights Statement HoHouse Bill 2260 added subsection (C) to A.R.S. §41-200.01 Regulatory Bill of Rights, http://www.azleg.gov/legtext/51leg/2r/laws/0204.pdf.  The bill requires state agencies that conduct audits, inspections, or other regulatory enforcement actions pursuant to ARS 41-1009 to create a Small Business Bill of Rights.

Board Mission

The Board’s mission is to protect the health, safety and welfare of Arizona citizens by examining, licensing and regulating homeopathic physicians.  The Board also registers homeopathic medical assistants that work under the supervision of licensed homeopathic physicians.

The Board licenses and regulates approximately 90 Physicians practicing in the state, and has registered 28 Medical Assistants.
